Who: Myself and maybe a pseudo!Harry
Where: Muggle bar in London
When: Saturday night, around 10:30 p.m.

Ginny stood behind the bar. She watched the crowds of muggles drink their Mai Tais and their Cosmos without a care as they danced close to one another in very suggestive ways upon the dance floor as the music thumped thunderously against Ginny's brain. 'If only they knew', she thought to herself as a man came up to the bar and ordered a fourth beer for himself. She glanced over at the Bouncer, Spike, wondering if she'd have to get him to escort this man out. She went to the tap and filled up the glass and sat it down in front of the man, who took it up after paying her and walked away to join a table with his other mates. Ginny sighed softly. She smoothed back her hair, which was situated in a long pony tail. When she had began this job she had taken it in hopes of maybe seeing Harry or getting some sign that he was alive and around and just biding his time for the opportune moment to come back to them all. She now knew that was silly. Ridiculous, even. How could she have believed Harry would be found by her? If he was alive, apparently he didn't want to be found. Hermione's and everyone else's words were starting to sink it. Ginny sighed again, feeling a little bit of relief begin to flood in. She stared off into space for a moment before another order was made.

Harry wandered discretely into a random bar and imediately ordered a bottle of Baily's. He sat down at the bar and cradled his bottle. It had been one of those nights. He just couldn't get her or the rest of them out of his mind. He couldn't forget, and killed him.

Ginny was about to go on break and thank Merlin for that. She had been standing behind the counter for so long that her back was aching and her feet too. She stretched inconspicuously (or what she hoped was) while reaching down beneath the counter to get a glass. She stood up and wipped back her hair. Althought, the gesture was rather redundant. Blowing out a breath she shook up an Apple Martini. She looked over at the door as Spike was helping that guy out she had been wondering about earlier. She smiled a little to herself. People were funny. Muggle people were even funnier. As Ginny looked down she thought she saw something familiar out of the corner of her eye and shot her head back up. She scanned the crowd, but saw no one. She didn't know why but her heart began to race and the hair on her arms prickled. Well, actually she knew why, but it was ridiculous of her. She ran the back of her hand over her forehead and felt it shake, then she wipped her hands on a towel as she handed the glass over to one of the waitresses waiting for a job. Ginny took in a few deep breaths before removing her apron and heading for the back room, passing a man who she could have mistaken for Harry any day. The only thing wrong was...his eyes.
When she got back there, the dark room was quite comforting. She could hear her breaths come out in shallow gasps as she pressed herself up against the cold stone wall. She hated when this happened. She saw something or someone that seemed remotely like Harry and she was thrown into this emotional rollercoaster.
"Damnit, get yourself together." She whispered.
She covered her face with her hands.
It was only another man with dark hair.
Just another man.

Just as Harry took a large swig from his bottle, he saw a flash of red as one of the girls bartending ran past him. Their eyes locked for a moment. Shit. Harry started panicking. There was no way that it was her, was there? Never the less, he ran out of the bar and back to his flat.

Damn. Harry slid down the length of the door, after he'd slammed it shut. His neighbors would probably bitch about it to him in the morning, but that didn't matter.

"Ginny." he cried, softly.

Her break was up and it was time to go back out and work. She only had about a half hour or hour left on the clock so she was ready to go out. She kind of peeked around the corner of the door to see if the man she had mistaken for Harry was still at the bar. She scanned the people sitting there once...twice...a third time, but there was no man that resembled Harry like that man had. She let of a breath and smoothed back her hair. "Hon, what are you doing?" asked Marlene, a muggle co-worker of hers. Ginny jumped, "Huh? Oh! I thought I saw someone I knew." Marlene smiled, "Oh, yeah? Was it a guy? Are you seeing someone now?" Ginny shook her head, "No. I'm not dating anyone." She laughed a little, feeling the tightness in her stomach relaxing. She had just been...seeing things? She worked too much or something. "You didn't happen to notice a man with dark hair, did you, Marlene? Sitting at the bar drinking a Baily's?" Ginny asked quietly. Marlene took a step back, foled her arms and seemed to think it over, "You know...I think I did. Was he the one you knew? He was really handsome, Al!" (Ginny took an assumed name while working) Ginny stood there and stared at her. What did this mean? Deciding to take the easy rode Ginny shook her head, "No. I just thought he ordered a Guiness. That's all." Marlene laughed and went back to work. Ginny bit her lower lip before going back out to the bar, a fake smile set in place.
