Who: Ginny Weasley, Order Members (?), Harry (?)
Where: the Night Shadow [Muggle Bar]
When: Late evening

Ginny was once again behind the bar. Doling out shots of Tequila (which made her stomach churn because of the other night), lots of beers, and mixed drinks. Once against donning her apron over a low cut v-neck top which showed her small stomach and some tight pants that accentuated her arse, she whipped the back of her hand across her forehead and checked to make sure her hair was still neatly back in its braid. Ginny sighed, while taking a couple bills from a woman and trying to give back her change. Ginny didn't exactly know why, but tonight was a special night and a few Order Members had shown up beside herself. She glanced over at them before taking another order. Ginny let out a breath and wondered where Hermione was, she had wanted an audition and yet she had yet to show up during the week. Ginny mentally shrugged and told herself that she wasn't even sure she wanted Hermione to get a job here. Hermione was nice and reserved and once a person unleashed a different side of themself it was hard to put it back in. Sometimes. Plus, Ron would slaughter Ginny. First, for putting her in danger and secondly because it was a bar and he wouldn't Hermione parading herself around. Which of course was just what Hermione wanted to do to get back at Ron for being such a prick face. Ginny bit her lip as she filled up a glass and wondered why she thought of this stuff while she worked, it wasn't very good stuff to think about while passing off drinks to people who were already past their limits most of the time. She had to have her wits about her. She kept glancing at the door and around the bar, half hoping and half dreading seeing a man that looked even close to Harry. Last time had been down right unnerving.

"Hey, Snapdragon," greeted Charlie, with a smile on his face. He had always called Ginny that, after all, Ginny was his favorite little sister. "How's business?"

Ginny smiled back widely at the man who was clearly her brother. She glanced around the pub wondering if there was anyone suspicious hanging around here if they would notice the relation. "Hey there, Char!" Ginny said over the noise. She thought about his next inquiry and shrugged, filling up a glass of Guiness, "Business is good. Who doesn't love to go out and get piss drunk?" She laughed. "Do you want anything? On the house, you know." Ginny sighed, flicking her eyes around the bar once more. "Have you seen anyone tonight, Charlie?" She asked innocently enough.

Charlie snorted at her comment at getting pissed. "I'll have pint, Gin," he said cheerfully, "Thanks." He had taken a large swig of said beer as he noticed Ginny's eyes flitting acrossed the room. He turned around himself and surveyed the room. "No, is there someone I should be looking for?" asked Charlie, turning around and giving her a raised brow.

Ginny looked at Charlie enjoying his pint and smiled. At the question, her face fell, so she quickly looked down at the counter. "Eh...not really. No. I'm just...it's just, I think I've been seeing things. P-people." She paused. "Merlin, you're going to think I'm mad!" She leaned closer and lowered her voice, "I swear, though, Charlie...Harry's alive. I've seen him." Ginny swallowed, "It was here. One night." She hadn't realized until that second that she now believed that man had been Harry. "The only thing that makes me a little unsure still is the fact that he didn't have his glasses and his eyes weren't green. However, there are plenty of ways, both magical and muggle to change that. Right?" She blew out a breath. "I can't stop thinking about it or hoping that he comes back. But...but if he saw me, which I'm almost as sure he did, I don't think he will. It's not safe, enough." Ginny stood there a moment, lost in her thoughts. Then further down the bar a man began to shout for her. "Oh, be right back!" she said to Charlie as she hurried down the bar.

Katie walked through the door into a rather crowded muggle bar, and grinned at thee subtle, but refreshing difference of the muggle bar compared to the wizard pub where she worked part time. She could let loose and do just about anything she wanted to, from flirting with complete strangers to simply getting drunk enough to forget tonight when she woke up the next morning. This was her night where she didn't have to think, or wait on anyone, or keep an eye out for aquaintances, friend or foe. Katie sighed happily, she needed tonight. As she turned towards the bar, Katie caught to flashes of what was undeniably Weasley red. Katie's grin fell, but she walked towards the two people. "So much for not knowing anyone," she mumbled under her breath.

Charlie was about to reply back to Ginny when she walked away and Katie Bell came up behind him.

"Is that you, Katie?" Charlie asked, but still not forgetting about what Ginny had said, the poor girl. "Blimey, I haven't seen you in what seems like forever! Sit, please!" Charlie stood up, gesturing towards the seat next to him.

"Hello Charlie," Katie grinned in spite of herself. One couldn't being cheerful when a Weasley was around. "I was kind of hoping not to know anyone here, tonight." She looked down the bar and saw Ginny serving a man down at the end. "I din't know Ginny worked here," Katie sat next to Charlie on the high bar stool, her toe barely touching the ground.

Ginny came back over and brushed part of her bangs that had began to fall into her eyes away. She smiled, "Hey Katie! I've been working here for a few months." She lowered her voice, kind of in mock secrecy, even though, she didn't want to actually be overheard. "Order duty." She winked at Katie. "Do you want anything?"

Katie smiled. "Ahh...well, I suppose there's worse places to work then a bar. Drunken men to amuse you, eye-candy once in a while..." Katie laughed. "I'll have an apple martini. So how've you two been?"
Ginny Weasleyset_a_flame on March 3rd, 2006 01:58 am (UTC)
Ginny nodded, "Definitely! I wanted to try out the whole stripping thing, but Ron just wasn't too sure any DE's would go in there. Psh, who's he kidding?!" Ginny laughed, "Only kidding, I have enough self-respect for myself and my fellow females not to enter a place like that." She began making Katie's drink. "You know, Charlie, you should really learn to avoid those kind of places too. If you're that lonely, I'm sure I could find you an easy lay." Ginny grinned and placed Katie's martini before her before winking at Charlie and flouncing off to serve another customer who approached the bar.

Charlie's face rapidly flushed. "Ginny!"

He shook his head free of unwanted images and took a large swig of his brew. "Y'know, sometimes I wonder where some of the things she says comes from," Charlie told Katie, "And then I remember the twins."

Ginny laughed, "Oh, Charlie, you act as though no one else is aware of your situation." She smiled, "I'm only joking!"

Cho entered the bar wearing a casual dress with her hair slightly wavy. Nothing special. She just wanted to blend in with the crowd. She walked up to the bar and noticed two redheads and a blonde. She took an empty seat next to Charlie and smiled at the lot of them, "Hey Katie, Charlie. It's nice to see you guys."
Charlie Weasleyiheartdragons on March 5th, 2006 03:07 am (UTC)
Charlie stood up at the sound of Cho's voice. "Fancy seeing you here," he greeted with a cheeky grin, "and on the same night I bump into Katie here!" Charlie offered The beauty his seat before he grabbed another bar stool nearby. "What are the odds?"
wilted_blossom on March 5th, 2006 10:02 pm (UTC)
Cho smiled, taking the seat, "Thank you, Charlie." She settled herself and tucked back some hair. "The odds must be very good, indeed!" She asked for a cosmo and noticed Ginny down the bar taking orders from other patrons. "So how are you?" She asked Charlie with a small smile.
quidditchkatiebquidditchkatieb on March 5th, 2006 03:38 pm (UTC)
Katie snorted into her martini in a very unladylike manner at Charlie's words. She turned as Cho walked over to the bar. "Cho! I haven't seen you in a while. How have you been?"
wilted_blossom on March 5th, 2006 10:04 pm (UTC)
Cho smiled at Katie and wondered what she had been laughing about, Cho always hated how she managed to walk in at the wrong moment and miss all the fun. "Hey Katie! I've been quite well, actually. How about you?"
